Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit – Kansas

Start Date: January 26, 2026
Location: Bel Aire, Kansas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Highlights:

• 26-bed Surgical Intensive Care Unit with diverse, high-acuity patient population
• Patient ratios of 1:2 standard, 1:1 for high-acuity cases including post-CABG patients
• Advanced critical care equipment including ECMO, CRRT, balloon pumps, and hypothermia therapy
• Meditech EMR system utilized across the facility
• Experience with trauma, post-surgical ICU, and cardiothoracic patients
• Collaborative team environment with experienced nursing staff and dedicated charge nurse support

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Kansas or compact state eligibility
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification – required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) or ATCN (Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses) certification – required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification – preferred
• Critical care experience with high-acuity patient populations
• Proficiency with central lines, chest tubes, and critical medication drips
