Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption and loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience
• Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns

• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy
• Explain and demonstrate features of the Target App (including Wallet) and how to use Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering
• Assist with returns following store policies and procedures, escalating to Leaders as needed
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store hours
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely at all times
• Support guest services such as order pick up, drive-up orders and associated returns, while complying with applicable laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• You enjoy interacting and helping others, including guests and team members
• You thrive in a fast-moving, highly active role requiring teamwork, flexibility, and problem solving
• You are open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and peak times)

• Effective communication with a welcoming, helpful attitude
• Attention to detail while prioritizing tasks
• Willingness to educate guests about products and services
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology; work independently or with a team
• Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

• Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office as needed
• Scan, handle and move merchandise safely, with typical lifting up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting up to 44 pounds
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends and holidays); reliable attendance
• Ability to remain mobile throughout the shift
• Work in varying temperatures and conditions (e.g., during Drive-Up, carryout, etc.)
