Overview

The Specialty Sales role at Target focuses on Style, Tech, and Beauty within the Ulta Beauty scope. This position is typically part-time with a flexible schedule and involves delivering an excellent guest experience, strong operations, and compelling visual merchandising on the sales floor and fitting rooms.

Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $16.75 USD per hour. Pay Range / Rango salarial: $16.75 USD - $25.15 USD per hour.

• Drive sales and deliver a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards, promotional signing, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings to assist guests as needed.
• Use store tools to understand sales and inventory ownership and support guest needs.
• Sort freight, push merchandise to the sales floor, and locate merchandise in backrooms as required by business needs.
• Set visual presentations and follow visual merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by executing fills and merchandising to capacity.
• Maintain backroom organization to support replenishment, fulfillment, and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as items sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Support price changes and clearance merchandising with proper signing.
• Maintain and use the fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and assist guests.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by moving merchandise from fitting rooms and guest service back to the sales floor as needed.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup (OPU) and Drive-up (DU); comply with applicable laws (e.g., adult beverage laws as required).
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs.
• Engage with guests to solve specific needs and thank them for shopping with Target.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel and accessories.

• Ability to operate handheld scanners and technology equipment; effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; resolve guest questions quickly.
• Capacity to stay focused and manage multiple tasks within established time frames.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb ladders; lift up to 15 pounds regularly and up to 44 pounds occasionally without assistance.
• Flexible schedule; reliable attendance.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.).
• Remain mobile for the duration of shift; shift length may vary.
