Overview
The Supervising Nurse is responsible for the coordination of the nursing and medical components of Arrow’s Residential or School Programs

Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
- Oversee and supervise health office staff and paraprofessionals in administration of all medications and treatments as prescribed by physician.
- Act as a liaison with consulting physician and/or psychiatrists and directs their scheduling while holding them accountable for their contractual requirements.
- Coordinate and maintain accurate documentation of assessments, plans, interventions, and evaluations of medical care of the students and residents.
- Handle medical emergencies and situations either personally or through delegated staff member.
- Facilitate the training of staff and medication protocols and provides guidance and feedback.
- Review referrals to residential program.
- Provide 24 hour “on-call” consultation to On-Call Administrators during emergencies, as needed in residential programs.
- Assign and coordinates physician/psychiatrist caseload as indicated.
- Attend trainings and meetings as required.
- Review and complete nursing staff payroll.
- Identify and address areas of improvement through CQI reporting and other avenues and communicate these areas with nursing staff.
- Maintain and promote a culture of quality through strategic goals, reviewing service delivery regarding outcomes and customer satisfaction, and staff recognition.
- Share/transmit the mission and vision of Arrow Child & Family Ministries to staff and to clients and families served.
- Perform all duties within contract, state and federal regulations, company policy, and regulatory agency standards.
- May be required to drive vehicles, be insurable with our auto insurance provider, and complete company vehicle training
A current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in the practicing State with at least 5 years of nursing experience and 3 years of progressive supervisory and administrative experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred
