The Host/Hostess works closely with patients, nursing staff, and support teams to deliver timely, accurate meal service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and patient satisfaction.

• 4 days/week: 2:30 PM - 7:00 PM
• 1 day/week: 6:30 AM - 2:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Flexibility with shifts is required

• Place patient meal orders accurately using the bedside meal program
• Print tray tickets and ensure accuracy based on patient diet orders
• Assemble meal trays on the tray line and load trays onto holding carts
• Deliver meal trays to patient rooms within established time frames
• Pick up dirty trays from patient units and return them to the dish room
• Ensure patients are aware of and understand the bedside meal program
• Clean and organize carts and tray delivery equipment
• Maintain and restock floor pantries as needed
• Interact professionally and compassionately with patients, nurses, unit secretaries, and patient family members
• Navigate hospital units efficiently to ensure timely meal service

Entry Level

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bel Air, MD.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
