• Perform high-quality nuclear medicine and/or positron emission tomography/computed tomography images on patients while providing excellent care.
• Assure proper dose of radionuclides are ordered for each patient.
• Explain test procedures and safety precautions to patients, guiding them through a sometimes-difficult process by gently talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process. Monitor patients' well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguard any on-site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers. Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

• Passionate about patient care and exercise sound judgement and an ability to remain professional in all situations.
• Demonstrate effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills and respect with patients, guests & colleagues.
• Have a structured work approach, understand complex problems and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.

• Current ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification with State Nuclear Medicine License.
• High school diploma or GED.
• BLS certification.
• Venipuncture certification/permit.

USD $40.00 - USD $50.00 per hour
