- Starting pay: $16 – $19 per hour
- Build meaningful connections by being an attentive companion to clients
- Encourage and participate in the client’s activity planner to support their quality of life
- Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing) and daily routines with compassion
- Follow client care plans, maintain proper care records, and communicate concerns to the Registered Nurse and supervisors promptly
- Provide medication reminders and prepare nutritious meals
- Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe, comfortable home environment
- Provide care across settings including clients’ homes, Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Hospice
- Contribute to a positive, proactive, responsible and courteous work environment
- Assist with transfer and mobility, including transportation to appointments and activities when appropriate
- Treat clients and their families with kindness, dignity, and respect at all times
- Strong interpersonal skills, including patience and active listening
- Adhere to company policies; limit personal phone use and non-client activities during work time, unless requested by the client
- Attend in-service training, staff meetings, and other professional development activities
- Work cooperatively with families, staff, supervisors, administrators, clients, and professionals
- Be willing to take on other duties, responsibilities, and special projects as needed
- Willingness to travel to client homes and facilities in areas served
- Valid CPR certification
- Pass a background screening
- Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance
