Employment Type: Full-Time (Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm)
Job Summary:
At UCH – Comprehensive Care Clinic, we are seeking a compassionate and dynamic Associate Medical Director to lead our Bel Air Clinic. The successful candidate will oversee clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care to complex patients with multiple co-morbidities and chronic conditions transitioning from the acute hospital setting to home. The Associate Medical Director will lead a multidisciplinary clinical team, develop and implement clinical policies and procedures, and coordinate care to ensure quality, effectiveness, and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise the clinical team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical policies and procedures to optimize patient outcomes.
- Coordinate care for complex patients transitioning from the acute hospital setting to home, ensuring safety and continuity of care.
- Promote the multidisciplinary care management process and continuum of care, focusing on outcomes management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and clinic operations.
- Monitor emerging care issues, trends, and technological advancements to enhance clinical practice.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in patient care and safety.
- Supervise and mentor clinical staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and professional growth.
- Provide constructive feedback, and support staff development.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among multidisciplinary team members.
- Collaborate with other departments and leadership to achieve organizational goals and strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes, ensuring alignment with clinic and organizational objectives.
- Represent the clinic in internal and external meetings, advocating for patient care excellence and clinic needs.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
. - Active State Medical License
, DEA
, and State Controlled Substance Registration (CSR).
- Minimum of three (3) years of acute care or related clinical experience required.
- Experience in a fast-paced clinical environment with complex patient populations preferred.
