Armed Security Officer

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients, guests, and/or associates by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales floors, common areas, parking lots, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter, adjusting to varying conditions by location;
Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or signs of criminal activity, and take appropriate action to help to deter incidents while maintaining a professional presence;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, coordinating with location management, and contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed;
Complete detailed reports and required documentation, communicate observations during shift handoffs, and assist with access control, key control, and/or securing doors and gates according to post orders
