ABOUT

THE ROLE

Successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the operation of the production lines by setting up,

maintaining, and troubleshooting the packaging area. This includes but is not limited to

placing finished products on pallets, wrapping, labeling and moving pallets. Candidate will also be

responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and professional appearance of finished goods

and packaging.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

* Ensure proper packaging and staging of finished product.

* Follow all job-related work instructions.

* Maintain a supply of necessary packaging materials in the packaging area

* Ensure that the proper packaging supplies include but are not limited to labels

* Keep a record of pallets produced and batch numbers, recording information

on daily reports.

* Maintain and operate the shrink frame system.

* Record and label all finished goods packaged.

* Ensure machinery is operating efficiently.

* Inspection of packaging quality

* Report any non-adherence to quality standards, defects, and malfunctions with

equipment and any problems encountered and method used to correct, at the

end of each shift.

* Clean, organize and dispose of all waste, during and at the end of shift.

* General housekeeping duties.

* Assist in production paperwork and training of new hires as applicable.

* Other duties as assigned.

* Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education:

High School Diploma

Field of Study Preferred:

1-2 years of vocational training or an Associate's Degree are preferred.

Additional Requirements:

* Be able to communicate clearly with all employees

* Must be able to lift between 50 pounds

* Must be able to bend/ stoop, sit and stand

* Work in both hot and cold environments

* Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
