ASU-Beebe is seeking part-time classroom aides for the Regional Career Center and Career Education Divisions on the Searcy Campus.

Duties include monitoring classroom and shop activities when students are present to ensure safety practices are being followed. Assist the instructor when needed with tasks such as attendance, making copies of handouts or test papers for students. Monitoring students during breaks to ensure they don’t leave the classroom or lab area. Monitoring bus pickup area after class to ensure all students are accounted for before the bus leaves campus.

Must wear safety glasses at all times while in the shop areas of the class.

GED or High School Diploma

$15.00 per hour

This position will be subject to a pre-employment criminal, sex-offender registry background check. In cases where pre-determined, an additional financial/credit history/ background check may be required as well. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed, will be excluded. Disclosure does not constitute an automatic bar to employment.

Factors such as dates of the offense, seriousness and nature of the violation, rehabilitation and position applied for will be taken into account.
