Institutional Work Study - Campus Recreation Assistant

We are seeking (2) Institutional Work Study students for 20 hours each week for the Fall 2025 & Spring 2026 terms. The position is located at ASU Beebe campus.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in setting up equipment for activities
• Assist in signing in participants and verifying eligibility
• Enforce intramural policies and procedures during contests
• Assist in storing equipment at the conclusion of activities

Applicants should have:

• Knowledge of intramural sports policies and rules
• A desire to acquire knowledge of all intramural sports offered
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to relate with peers
• Ability to work outdoors
• Ability to lift and move intramural equipment

$11.00 per hour

This position requires a pre‑employment criminal and sex‑offender registry background check. Additional financial/credit checks may also be required. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed will be excluded. Disclosure does not constitute an automatic bar to employment. Factors such as dates of the offense, seriousness and nature of the violation, rehabilitation and position applied for will be taken into account.
