Institutional Work Study - Peer Guide

The One-Stop is seeking (3) Institutional Work Study students at 15 hours each per week for the Fall 2025 & Spring 2026 terms.

Duties include:

• Assist students with the enrollment process from application, financial aid navigation, advising and all other involved offices/processes
• Assist with answering the phone, walk-in traffic, and other office duties as needed
• Assist new students during the summer orientation events

Knowledge of the college enrollment process; office experience preferred

$11.00 per hour

This position will be subject to a pre-employment criminal, sex-offender registry background check. In cases where pre-determined, an additional financial/credit history/ background check may be required as well. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed, will be excluded. Disclosure does not constitute an automatic bar to employment.

Factors such as dates of the offense, seriousness and nature of the violation, rehabilitation and position applied for will be taken into account.
