Job Title: Business Development Lead
Pay: $125,000

Position SummaryA rapidly growing organization within the natural gas and infrastructure sector is seeking a Business Development Lead to support continued expansion across major Texas markets, including the DFW Metroplex and the I‑35 corridor. This position plays a critical role in driving revenue growth by developing relationships with large-scale residential developers, national homebuilders, and regional real estate partners.
This is a high‑visibility opportunity suited for a sales‑forward, relationship‑oriented professional with a strong background in real estate development or closely related fields. The ideal candidate combines commercial acumen with the ability to manage long sales cycles, influence senior stakeholders, and navigate complex development projects tied to utility infrastructure.
The previous individual in this role was promoted due to strong performance, and continued market expansion has created the need to add another top-performing professional.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, qualify, and pursue new market opportunities across assigned territories.
- Evaluate project feasibility by gathering development details and assessing commercial terms.
- Prepare, present, and deliver compelling proposals to developers and homebuilders.
- Negotiate contracts in collaboration with internal legal counsel.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with small, mid‑sized, and large‑scale developers.
- Achieve and surpass annual sales targets through disciplined pipeline management.
- Support successful onboarding and client satisfaction after contract execution.
- Represent the company professionally in meetings, project discussions, and field engagements.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in real estate development or a closely related industry.
- Proven track record in outside sales and business development.
- Strong presentation, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
- Excellent driving record and comfort operating independently in the field.
- Ability to balance multiple active projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel throughout Texas based on business needs.
- High energy, assertiveness, and a goal-focused mindset.
- Self‑starter who can independently source new opportunities and move deals forward.
- Confident communicator able to present value propositions to sophisticated stakeholders.
- Motivated to exceed goals and maintain a strong pipeline.
- Comfortable spending significant time engaging prospects across Texas markets.
