The role

We are recruiting a Maths Teacher to support a large, forward-thinking secondary school with sixth form provision. The school has a strong academic ethos and places high value on numeracy, progress, and structured classroom practice.

This opportunity is ideal for a confident teacher who can deliver engaging, well-paced lessons and maintain high expectations across all ability ranges.

Northumberland | 11–18 Secondary School with Sixth Form
£163 – £265.92 per day | PAYE | Dependent on experience

• 11–18 secondary with established sixth form

• Clear behaviour policy with consistent routines

• Strong focus on progress and attainment

• Collaborative and well-resourced Maths department

• Supportive leadership team

• Deliver Maths across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available for suitable candidates)

• Plan and adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs

• Use assessment data to drive pupil progress

• Uphold high standards of behaviour and academic achievement

• QTS (or equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification)

• Strong subject knowledge across the Maths curriculum

• Confident classroom management

• Organised, reliable and adaptable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
