Location: Bedford (MK42)

Base salary: £38,767 per annum

Regional Allowance: £3,764 per annum

Meal allowance: £1,035 per annum (annual earnings: £43,566 + overtime)

We are recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join the team at our Bedford site. The vehicles you will be driving are all 4-axle 32t rigid trucks, including POD, Auger Tipper and Mixer trucks, all with automatic gearboxes.

You will be the first point of face‑to‑face contact for our customers, delivering mortar to building sites in the local area. You should have a positive 'can do' attitude with excellent customer service skills. You will operate both multi‑compartment POD and Mixer vehicles, maintaining and cleaning them daily. You must put the customer at the heart of everything you do, remain calm and professional when challenges arise, and uphold high health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with specific customer requirements.

You need to be punctual, an early riser, and flexible in working hours during the day, and you must be able to work alternative Saturdays due to continuous growth and industry requirement. Overtime is paid on Saturdays.

• Current Class 2 HGV licence with no restrictions and a maximum of 3 points on the driver’s licence
• Current Drivers CPC card
• Experience operating Mixer or POD trucks is advantageous; full training is provided
• Excellent English communication and writing skills
