Working Hours:

42 hours guaranteed, with overtime paid after 42 hours. Day and night shift class 1 available. Day shift Class 2.

• Operate and maintain HGV vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Ensure the timely and secure delivery of goods to designated locations.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• As a Whistl HGV Driver, you'll be responsible for transporting goods on pre-planned, designated routes. This isn t a stressful multi-drop role - we operate a collection and injection to carrier model, giving you a more structured and predictable day.

• A valid Class 1 (Cat C+E) and Class 2 (Cat
  
  C) licence and CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification (the cost of renewals required during employment will be covered by Whistl)
• Digital tachograph card
• Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents and a strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Ability to handle physical demands
• Good communication skills to quickly understand instructions and liaise effectively with colleagues and customers
• Exceptional time management and organisational skills
