Overview
Stonewater is inviting applications for the Domestic Abuse Support Worker position at our Central Bedfordshire South Refuge.
Pay is £13,104 per annum, with a part‑time commitment of 20 hours per week and flexible scheduling.

- Use the Empowerment Star to create and review support plans with survivors.
- Provide emotional support and wellbeing interventions.
- Conduct risk assessments, support planning, actions, goal setting and regular reviews.
- Signpost and assist survivors with finances and benefits.
- Support survivors in sourcing education, training and employment opportunities.
- Help maintain tenancy through monitoring rent payments and room cleanliness.
- Passion for supporting survivors to live their best life and ability to work collaboratively with attention to detail.
- Positive, can‑do attitude and resilience under pressure.
- Experience in creating person‑centred support plans and working with survivors to achieve them.
- Ability to work independently, initiate actions and maintain a resilient approach.
- Transferable skills from other sectors acceptable.
- Fully enhanced DBS check (Stonewater will arrange).
- Confidence using technology to create and update support plans and complete online training.
- Will hold a small caseload of clients within the Bedfordshire Services.
