Production Operative

Join Ibstock PLC as a Production Operative – Bedford. Ibstock PLC is seeking a talented and driven Production Operative to support our production team in Bedford. The successful candidate will be a member of a multi‑functional production team, aiming to achieve Safety, Quality, Efficiency and Delivery targets within the Production department, to ensure the optimum performance of the factory.

• Permanent/Temporary Role
• Hours per week or hours per day
• Shift pattern (Monday – Friday or insert shift pattern for ops)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Take ownership of your work and support the team.
• Organise and prioritise your daily tasks.
• Operate machinery safely when needed.
• Follow all health, safety, quality, and environmental guidelines.
• Support improvement projects and assist production when required.
• Keep your work area clean and well‑organised.
• Help update workplace procedures and risk assessments.

• Comfortable communicating with others and building good working relationships.
• Able to work well in a team, but also confident working on your own when needed.

• Keen to learn how to use our equipment and grow your skills.
• Open to training and development opportunities.
• Experience in a hands‑on or physically active job would be helpful, but not essential.
