We are looking for a Flexible Production Operative to join us in our mission of delivering quality outdoor products such as log cabins, garden offices, sheds and gazebos designed with care, built to last, and made to make our customers smile!

The Role:This job is based out of our Bedford HQ/Branch – MK41 0LF
and supports the R&D, Windows, Glass and general production departments by manufacturing various products.
Manufacturing & Production
- Manufacture replacement parts and components to specification.
- Manufacture sealed glass units on a production line to specification.
- Carry out fabrication and assembly processes in line with company procedures and specifications
- Produce bespoke products and one‑off projects as required by the business.
- Support the manufacture of humanitarian products in line with design, quality, and safety standards.
- Manufacture small‑batch product lines, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Work with the Technical Supervisor and Design team to support new product development and prototypes.
- Assist with design changes and improvements to existing products.
- Interpret technical drawings, measurements, and specifications accurately.
- Work with new and existing materials, selecting appropriate methods and tools.
- Use woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively.
- Support testing and evaluation of materials and construction methods.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and specifications.
- Follow Health & Safety procedures, safe systems of work, and PPE requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.
- Liaise with Production, Design, Warehouse, and Operations teams to support project timelines.
- Support ad hoc projects and operational requirements as needed.
- Strong practical skills with woodworking tools and machinery
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- High attention to detail and quality
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in a manufacturing, workshop, or bespoke environment is desirable
- Monday – Thursday 07:30‑16:30 and Friday 07:30 – 13:30
- £25,397 per annum starting salary
- 29 days holiday including bank holidays
