Cleaner – Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services

Hours:

25 hours per week.

Shift: 5 am to 10 am, Monday to Friday.

Location:

Network Rail, Ashburnham Road, Bedford, Bedfordshire, England, MK40 1DP.

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well‑maintained, and in safe working order.
• Build knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, including schedule and cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Follow Health & Safety requirements and meet all agreed SLAs.
• Undertake all required training to deliver the cleaning role.
• Work within a team under your own initiative.
• Build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivering excellent customer service.
• Seek ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.

• At least 2 years of cleaning experience.
• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Desirable, but not essential, previous cleaning experience.
• Flexible approach to the role.
• Open, honest, self‑driven and determined attitude.
• Reliable, hardworking with a professional attitude.
