Driver

Join a growing, family‑run commercial laundry business serving customers across Bedford, Milton Keynes, Luton and London. The role involves delivering and collecting laundry and linen across London and surrounding areas in Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes using Luton tail‑lift vans and Ford Transit vehicles.

• Full‑time, permanent (40 hours per week with regular overtime)
• Starting pay: £13.50 per hour plus overtime

• Drive Luton tail‑lift vans and Ford Transit vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver and collect laundry and linen across London and surrounding areas.
• Lifting and handling of hamper bags and using wheeled cages on a tail‑lift.
• Possibly work in the laundry, completing duties under instruction of the person in charge.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in vehicles and work areas.
• Follow all driving, health, safety and hygiene regulations.
• Support teammates to ensure smooth and timely service delivery.

• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Experience driving a Luton van or similar (preferred).
• Physically fit and able to carry out lifting and handling tasks.
• Confident English speaker.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices.
• Ready for progress to Driver/Supervisor and then to Transport Manager.
