Commercial Finance Manager (Remote)

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Manager to partner with commercial teams and drive volume and profitability within a business that has sites the UK and Ireland. This role will own governance on pricing and discounts ensuring robust controls and insightful analysis that enable policy adherence and deliver sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities Pricing Strategy & Optimisation
  • Develop and execute pricing strategies to maximise volume and profitability across key brands.
  • Partner with commercial teams to deliver annual price reviews and address loss‑making prices.
  • Implement pricing guardrails to support profitable brand growth.
  • Train and coach sales teams on pricing processes and approvals.
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Manage and develop a Commercial Finance Analyst.
  • Provide commercial support to senior finance leadership.
Reporting & Compliance
  • Deliver accurate and timely internal and external reporting.
  • Prepare month‑end reporting variance analysis and audit requirements for discounts.
  • Maintain strong financial controls including balance sheet reconciliations and compliance with IFRS.
Requirements
  • Naturally curious with a proactive results‑driven mindset.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills across finance and commercial teams.
  • Positive collaborative and detail‑oriented approach.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong commercial finance experience.
  • Proven ability to influence and communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP systems;
    Power BI knowledge is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment.
