Automotive Technical Trainer

Within our Milton Keynes head office, we have a state of the art training facility and Electric Vehicle suite which boasts the latest technology in EV and hybrid, and because of an ever-growing pipeline of new business all across the country, we are looking for the next crop of talented trainers to join our team.

Responsible for all day-to-day aspects of the training delivery and assessment of candidates and individuals, in consultation with the reporting manager for each subject matter delivered.

With travel required all over the nation and internationally, you will have responsibility for the delivery of courses both technical and non-technical including (but not limited to) Hybrid/Electric Vehicle, Hydrogen and Air Conditioning courses for light and heavy vehicles.

To be able to make decisions in relation to the needs and opportunities for each candidate within the context of provision and targeted progression opportunities. You will work closely with all aspects of Autotech Group and represent them when required.

Travel could be up to 5 days a week if required or more if international travel required. Applicant must be happy to be on the road. Flexible with availability and admin days.

Amongst other things, you will:

• Actively work to the policies & procedures as set by Autotech Training Ltd
• Be responsible for delivering and managing all components of delegate progress in-line with the key IMI processes
• Arrange and deliver technical training courses on site in Milton Keynes and externally, across the UK and internationally, at client sites
• Maintain delegate training records for reporting purposes and mentor delegates
• Keep up to date with technical and academic knowledge
• Contribute to process of continual improvement

You will be creative, proactive, organised, flexible, results-oriented, and have a passion for and understanding of electric vehicles. We would like you to have outstanding communication, and organisational skills while demonstrating a positive and professional demeanour.

Ideally, you'll be an experienced and confident trainer or lecturer who has experience of being in front of a classroom, with a demonstrated automotive background, preferably with MOT and Electric Vehicles. Any experience of HGV is an added bonus!

Pay Range: £40,000- £50,000. We offer competitive salaries that are reviewed and bench marked accordingly.

An EV car will be provided in this role which can be used for personal, business and training use, along with a fuel/ charge card and company credit card for any stay aways.

We will enrol you onto any course or any external training that you require to grow within your role and a having a continuous professional development plan is encouraged.
