We are currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across a range of friendly and supportive primary schools in Bedford. These schools are committed to creating positive learning environments where every child can thrive.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils and teachers by:
Supporting children across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
Working 1:1 with pupils who require additional support
Delivering small group interventions to boost learning and confidence
Assisting the teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities
Supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH or EAL needs
Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with children (school, nursery, coaching, youth work or care)
A positive, patient and adaptable attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting children’s development
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
