Computer Science Teacher

A secondary school in Bedford is seeking to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic Computer Science / ICT Teacher for a long-term cover role, starting immediately and continuing through to the end of July.

The school has a supportive and approachable Senior Leadership Team, along with a collaborative staff culture where teachers are valued and supported both professionally and personally.

• Delivering Computer Science and/or ICT across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that combine practical and theoretical learning
• Supporting students of varying abilities to reach their full potential
• Marking, assessing, and tracking progress in line with departmental expectations
• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and effective classroom management

• A qualified teacher with QTS or an equivalent recognised qualification
• Recent UK secondary teaching experience
• Experience teaching Computer Science and/or ICT at KS3 and KS4
• Strong subject knowledge and confidence with the current curriculum
• A proactive, adaptable, and professional approach

• Right to Work in the UK
• UK teaching experience
