Parts Advisor

Group1 Bedford is looking for aBodyshop Parts Advisor.

What you’ll do day to day

• Receive, log, and accurately allocate parts and consumables from suppliers.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Recommend suitable parts based on customer requirements with expert knowledge.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the system.
• Ensure thorough understanding and adherence to all parts department procedures.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers.
• Submit invoices to insurance companies and ensure timely debt collection.
• Accurately verify and store all parts, and cross-check supplier invoices against WIPs.
• Assist with vehicle collection from local customers when needed.
• Maintain consistent communication with approved repairers and ensure final quality checks on all completed vehicles.

• Strong ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Exceptional time management and ability to stay organised under pressure.
• Proficient in IT systems including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and web-based platforms.
• Methodical and logical approach to work, especially during busy periods.
• Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
