Overview

Estimator required to join leading groundworks / rc frame contractor based in the Bedfordshire area. The Estimator would ideally come from a groundworks / rc frame background. Estimators with project experience covering groundworks and rc frame projects would be an advantage for the role.

• Monitoring of relevant portals for tender opportunities.
• Download of Invitations to Tender into tender folders.
• Preparation of tenders.
• Attend tender site visits as required.
• Production of preliminary tender method statements, safety plans and programmes when required.
• Sending out sub-contractor tender enquiries when required.
• Liaising with Buyers/Plant Dept/Accounts for materials/plant/labour costs.
• Attend tender adjudications with Commercial Team.
• Submission of tenders to clients and/or portals.
• Preparation of PQQs when required.
• Updating client Framework information when requested.
• Attend internal handover meetings to handover successful tenders from Estimator to Site Team.
