Buyer - Precision Engineering - Bedford - up to £40,000 plus benefits
Hello Recruitment is pleased to be recruiting a Buyer for a rapidly expanding market leading engineering business based in Bedford.
As Buyer you will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager and be in charge of purchasing all company materials whilst ensuring optimal delivery performance , maintaining standards and where possible driving cost efficiencies.
The role will encompass most facets of the buying/purchasing remit including :
Supplier Management
Negotiation & Value
Operational Support
Performance & Risk
Inventory & Logistics
Systems & Data
Sustainability & Reporting
Collaboration & Improvement
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Purchasing & Global logistics from an engineering background with proficiency in MS Office skills. Good data analytical skills with a methodical way of working coupled good problem solving skills and a desire to get the job done to the best of your ability are essential.
Familiarity with a CRM & ERP System would be advantageous but full training will be provided.
