This role offers the opportunity to work with a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses and SMEs, taking responsibility for audit assignments from planning through to completion while maintaining direct client contact. Responsibilities Planning and leading external audit assignments from start to completion Preparing audit files, work papers, and completion documentation Identifying risk areas and ensuring compliance with relevant audit standards Liaising directly with clients and acting as a key point of contact Presenting audit findings and recommendations Supporting and mentoring junior team members Managing multiple assignments and meeting deadlines Requirements ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) Current external audit experience within a UK accountancy practice is essential Experience leading or supporting audit assignments Strong understanding of audit and financial reporting standards Good organisational and communication skills The Firm Eestablished independent firm with a strong regional client base and a reputation for providing high-quality audit and advisory services.
