Texas Health HEB: 1600 Hospital Parkway Bedford, TX 76022

Work hours:

Full Time (36 Hour) Day Shift; 7A-7P x3 shifts/week with rotating weekends, holidays, no on call

Department Highlights:
  • Resource Pool Specialty Nurse

  • Floating between Observation, PCU/CSU, and Med Surg units

Here’s What You Need Education
  • Nursing Diploma (nursing) required Or

  • Associate’s Degree Nursing required Or

  • Bachelor’s Degree Nursing preferred

Experience
  • 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
Licenses and Certifications
  • RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required And

  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required And

  • ACLS
    - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (if required for float dept) 90 days required And

  • CPI
    - Crisis Prevention Interventional Training maintained annually 90 days required And

  • NIHSS
    - National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 60 days required
