Work hours:
Full Time (36 Hour) Day Shift; 7A-7P x3 shifts/week with rotating weekends, holidays, no on call
Resource Pool Specialty Nurse
Floating between Observation, PCU/CSU, and Med Surg units
Nursing Diploma (nursing) required Or
Associate’s Degree Nursing required Or
Bachelor’s Degree Nursing preferred
- 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required And
BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required And
ACLS
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (if required for float dept) 90 days required AndCPI
- Crisis Prevention Interventional Training maintained annually 90 days required AndNIHSS
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 60 days required
