Registered Nurse (RN) Charge

Work location:

Texas Health HEB, 1600 Hospital Parkway, Bedford, Texas 76022

Work hours:

Full Time (40 hours/week);
Evening Shift, M-F between 1:30 pm and 10:30 pm

• Charge nurse responsibilities in an acute care setting (RN)
• Demonstrate the eight Caring Factors of Texas Health's Quality Caring Model as a charge nurse:
  Basic Human Needs, Human Respect, Affiliation Needs, Appreciation of Unique Meanings, Mutual Problem Solving, Attentive Reassurance, Encouraging Manner, Healing Environment

• Nursing Diploma required OR Associate’s Degree in Nursing required OR Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting required
• 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting preferred
• Operating Room experience preferred
• RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
