Work hours:
Full Time (40 hours/week);
Evening Shift, M-F between 1:30 pm and 10:30 pm
- Charge nurse responsibilities in an acute care setting (RN)
- Demonstrate the eight Caring Factors of Texas Health's Quality Caring Model as a charge nurse:
Basic Human Needs, Human Respect, Affiliation Needs, Appreciation of Unique Meanings, Mutual Problem Solving, Attentive Reassurance, Encouraging Manner, Healing Environment
- Nursing Diploma required OR Associate’s Degree in Nursing required OR Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting required
- 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting preferred
- Operating Room experience preferred
- RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required
- BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
