Texas Oncology is looking for a Radiation Registered Nurse to join our team! This position will support the Mid Cities (Bedford, Keller, and Grapevine), TX location. • Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote the continuity of care consistent with established standards and practices.
  • Assess health status by interviewing patient regarding current status and medical history.
  • Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and other instructional material.
  • Provide psychosocial support to patients and families.

  • Manage patient medication refill requests from the pharmacy telephone line and record the information in the patient chart.
  • Facilitate and schedule consultations, pre‑testing, diagnostic tests or procedures, referrals and future appointments for patients.
  • Triage patient phone calls as needed and document relevant information in the patient's chart.
  • As necessary, facilitate communication between patient/family and interdisciplinary team and coordinate services related to patient care.
  • Assist patients in locating available community resources.

  • Act as a resource to LPN/LVNs and medical assistants.

• Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience Nghymru.
• Willing to consider entry, mid, or senior‑level candidate.
• Current RN state license with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support ( manos ) certification.
