Texas Oncology is looking for a Radiation Registered Nurse to join our team! This position will support the Mid Cities (Bedford, Keller, and Grapevine), TX location. Long‑Term Incentive Plan (ిశ)

Long‑Term Incentive Plan (LTIP): is an incentive program that typically vests over a three‑year period and is tied to both individual performance and the operational success of Texas Oncology. Awards are discretionary and based on your position, performance, and potential for future career growth at Texas Oncology. Awards are reviewed and approved during the annual compensation review. LTIP awards are subject to your continued employment through the award payment date, and are governed by the written terms and conditions of the LTIP document.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote the continuity of care consistent with established standards and practices.
    • Assess health status by interviewing patient regarding current status and medical history.
    • Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and other instructional material.
    • Provide psychosocial support to patients and families.

    • Manage patient medication refill requests from the pharmacy telephone line and record the information in the patient chart.
    • Facilitate and schedule consultations, pre‑testing, diagnostic tests or procedures, referrals and future appointments for patients.
    • Triage patient phone calls as needed and document relevant information in the patient's chart.
    • As necessary, facilitate communication between patient/family and interdisciplinary team and coordinate services related to patient care.
    • Assist patients in locating available community resources.
  • Interprofessional collaboration
    • Act as a resource to LPN/LVNs and medical assistants.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience Nghymru.
  • Willing to consider entry, mid, or senior‑level candidate.
  • Current RN state license with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
  • Current Basic Life Support ( manos ) certification.

Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs.
