The Records Auditor reviews blood collection records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance through detailed auditing and data entry. The Records Auditor applies thorough knowledge of collection procedures and quality control requirements to execute RADE audit processes and supports error investigation efforts.
The RA plays a vital part in supporting donor and patient safety by evaluating documentation for regulatory compliance, identifying and investigating discrepancies, and determining appropriate product and donor status. This position also fosters effective working relationships with internal and external partners by delivering professional, responsive, and collaborative customer service that supports departmental efficiency and organizational success.
The RA exemplifies and champions Carter Blood Care Core Values and Code of Conduct. This position may require working varying shifts, extended hours, weekends, and/or overtime to support operational needs. Regular, full-time attendance is required during normal working hours.
Shift: 4/10 work schedule:
Monday 6:30 am - 5:00 pm, Friday - Sunday 4:30 am - 3:00 pm
Education
- High School Education or GED
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience with phlebotomy or a process-driven role in blood banking (or another highly regulated industry); or a minimum of 2 years of experience with clerical auditing of business or laboratory records may qualify
- Data entry experience, preferred
