Work Hours and LocationWork hours: Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:45pm, and up to two Saturdays a month 8:30am – 12:30pm. Daily hours may vary slightly depending on department needs.
Location: The position is located at our Headquarters office. After the initial training period, the Digital Loan Specialist may be approved for hybrid status (working three days per week in the office and two days remotely).
SummaryThe Digital Loan Specialist is responsible for efficiently processing loan applications via our online platform and inbound calls from the call center. This role involves processing loan applications, conducting member interviews, cross‑selling lending products, and managing new memberships, checking, and share accounts. The role is expected to deliver exceptional member service, exhibit strong attention to detail, and have a thorough understanding of loan products and Credit Union services.
The Digital Loan Specialist ensures that each loan application meets the Credit Union’s lending standards, refers loan applications to underwriting for approval or denial, communicates lending decisions to members in a timely and professional manner, and complies with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and regulations. This position may support other lending areas as needed.
