Overview

Become an Associate Director, Specialty Programs  this role you oversee risk‑mitigation activities for specialty programs that deviate from the standard model. You work closely with executive management, functional teams and program sponsors to identify, monitor and communicate risks.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement risk‑mitigation plans for new and existing specialty programs.
  • Monitor financial, credit and operational risks, analyze cash extraction requests, and review agency financial statements.
  • Prepare financial forecasts, analyze variances, and provide process‑improvement suggestions.
  • Collaborate with accounting, finance, actuarial, reinsurance, legal and client services to ensure risk controls are effective.
  • Communicate risk status to EVP, senior management, and program sponsors.
  • Lead remediation planning, monitor progress, and report on outcomes.
  • Assist with due diligence of new deals and prepare quarterly risk reports.
  • Assume special projects as directed by the Director – Specialty Programs.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Senior‑level experience in financial analysis, credit analysis or financial statement/control auditing (5+ years).
  • Strong analytical, judgmental and decision‑making abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, organizational and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • High integrity and ethical decision‑making; no conflicts of interest.
Education & Credentials
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA designation preferred.
