Security Officer - Flex Gate Control

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical or petrochemical location.;
Control entry and exit at designated access points by verifying identification, issuing and/or collecting badges or credentials, and maintaining visitor, contractor, and delivery logs.;
Screen and route vehicles, shipments, and contractors according to site requirements, reporting irregularities and/or restricted items through the proper channels.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and escalating to site management and/or emergency services as needed.;
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, checking gates, doors, and restricted areas and reporting maintenance or security-related concerns.
