The Friendly Toast is a unique “all day brunch and bar” restaurant with an eclectic, scratch-made menu. The Toast is an amazing place for growth within the restaurant industry for the right people. The BOH position consists of Dishwashers, Prep Cooks and Line Cooks. As a BOH position you may be asked to help cover other positions during your employment. BOH is to maintain a prepared and sanitary work area at all times, set up stations and collect all necessary supplies for service, make sure all storage areas are tidy and all products are stored appropriately, constantly use safe and hygienic food handling practices, able to follow written or verbal instructions, able to work in a high pace and hot environment, flexible with job duties, self-motivated and organized.

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine.
• Sort and stack clean dishes. Carry clean dishes to cook’s line and other proper storage areas. Rewash soiled dishes before delivering.
• Change dishwater in dish machine every hour.
• Wash pots, pans and trays by hand.
• Set up or break down dishwashing area.
• Clean and roll/unroll mats.
• Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions.
• Sweep/mop floors.
• Assemble/disassemble dish machine.
• Sweep up trash around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpster.
• Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry.
• Notify manager any time dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures.
