• Conduct preliminary assessments and concept creation.
• Lead designs with support from peers, SMEs, and BIM designers.
• Resolve internal and external problems.
• Produce drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate customer and vendor accessibility.
• Manage concurrent projects to ensure timely completion.
• Design and develop security solutions, create schematics, schedules, and plan drawings.
• Perform calculations for video storage, bandwidth usage, and power loads.
• Coordinate cross‑discipline integration with architectural, civil, electrical, and instrumentation teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related technical/scientific discipline (master’s preferred).
• Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
• Professional security certifications (CISSP, CPP, PSP, etc.) are a plus.
• 12+ years of professional experience in planning, designing, and commissioning physical security systems and/or communication networks.

• In‑depth knowledge of video surveillance, access control, biometric systems, intrusion detection, and familiarity with leading manufacturers.
• Experience with vulnerability and risk assessments.
• Ability to evaluate emerging security technologies and analyze trade‑offs among options such as multi‑megapixel cameras, thermal imaging, radar, LiDAR, etc.
• Strong understanding of network technologies and cybersecurity principles.

• Exceptional problem‑solving abilities.
• Team collaboration and constructive feedback.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

• Proficiency with Bluebeam and design collaboration tools.
• Experience with Revit, ACC, BIM
  360, AutoCAD, and/or Micro Station.
• Knowledge of CSI design and construction specifications.
• Experience estimating and scheduling mid‑to‑large‑scale project design effort.
• Knowledge of construction cost estimating for security implementation.

• Leading projects and managing resources.
• Mentoring junior staff.
• Design management experience.
• Design experience in data centers.
