As a facilities electrical engineer, you will work on projects that enable the heart of our client’s semiconductor‑based manufacturing. You and other team members will work closely with client owners in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, collaborating with on‑site personnel to support projects of varying size and complexity, including assessing systems, consulting system owners, and analyzing scope requests from stakeholders.
In this role you will interact with the client, contractors, and site personnel in Wilton, Connecticut. Your job includes designing, developing, evaluating, and preparing recommendations with basis of design (BOD) and scope of work (SOW) documents, and preparing design, construction and specification documents through the programming process with a team.
You will also oversee engineering and construction for the facility power distribution system work (up to 13.8kV), grounding, lighting, emergency and standby generation systems, life safety systems, and fire alarm and detection systems. The work will include retrofits of existing building systems as well as new systems.

• Oversee engineering and construction of power distribution, grounding, lighting, emergency generation, life safety, and fire alarm systems.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar from an ABET accredited university
- At least 10 years of experience in engineering design of building electrical systems, including distribution to end‑use
- Solid knowledge and application of the electrical requirements per NFPA 70, 70E, 72, 101, 110, building codes, energy codes and related standards such as IEEE and ASHRAE
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of multidisciplinary teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and leadership experience
- Solid knowledge of the practice and procedures for specifications and selection of all types of electrical equipment and hardware
- Working knowledge of PLC, DCS, and other controls applications
- Experience reviewing vendor submittal packages against client requirements and specifications
- Field experience interacting with subcontractors and construction personnel
- EIT or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
- 5 years of experience as a facility engineer
- Working knowledge of Instrumentation & Controls design‑related deliverables such as P&IDs, I/O lists, wiring diagrams, control narratives, etc.
- Experience with control panel design, including UL508A requirements
- Proficient with electrical modeling software such as SKM Power Tools, ETap, Easy Power
- Proficient with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit or BIM

Location
This is an on‑site position requiring work to be performed on the client site in Wilton, CT. Candidates must be willing to commute to the site Monday‑Friday during normal business hours (nominally 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) with some flexibility based on site and employee preference.
