Base Pay Range$90,000.00/yr – $/yr
Your ImpactAt Jacobs, we use innovative solutions to change the world. The Ports & Maritime team in New England leads transformative projects that enhance resiliency, sustainability, and connectivity across the region’s waterfronts. The team focuses on the following areas:
- Design–Build Port Planning
- Asset Management and Rehabilitation Design
- Coastal Resiliency
- Urban and Working Waterfront Development
- Electrification & Decarbonization of Port Infrastructure
- Manage all phases of project development from initial planning through design and construction.
- Motivate multidisciplinary teams to deliver contract documents, design basis, technical specifications, and other client deliverables.
- Develop and implement project execution plans, managing schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Interface with clients, subconsultants, and stakeholders; present proposals and technical solutions.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET‑accredited university.
- Experience preparing construction drawings, specifications, and leading design tasks, especially marine structure rehabilitation or inspection.
- Ability to guide and mentor engineers on design procedures and quality management.
- Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working on and around water and a self‑starter who keeps projects moving forward.
