Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented intern to join our logistics team as a Routing and Dispatch Intern. The intern will assist in coordinating daily operations, optimizing delivery routes, and supporting real‑time communication with drivers. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates interested in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management to gain hands‑on experience.

What You’ll Do
  • Assist in planning and optimizing delivery routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Support dispatch operations by monitoring driver schedules and ensuring timely service.
  • Communicate with drivers to provide route updates and resolve issues in real‑time.
  • Enter and maintain accurate data related to routes, deliveries, and performance metrics.
  • Generate reports on delivery performance and service quality.
  • Help ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and delivery status requests.
About You
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with routing/dispatch software (a plus).
  • Problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in logistics, dispatch, or customer service (internships or part‑time work).
  • Knowledge of GPS navigation systems and route planning tools.
