Join our team at Millipore Sigma as a Scientist 1 in Bedford, MA. In this role, you will be part of the Analytical team that focuses on the development, optimization and performance of analytical methodology supporting research and development of new products and their manufacturing processes. Your role will be to perform extractables studies, and to determine compounds that can be released or migrate from single-use and filtration devices and other Millipore Sigma products, using TOC, HPLC, GCMS, ICP, ion chromatography, LCMS, and other appropriate characterization techniques.
This role will be lab-based, driving projects forward through innovation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or other Science field and 1+ year of professional chemistry experience
- Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or other Science field
- High School diploma or GED with 5+ years of professional laboratory experience
- Experience in analytical chemistry
- Highly motivated with strong organizational skills, capable of performing, interpreting and troubleshooting analytical assays, and producing detailed reports and presenting findings effectively
- Strong communication skills, capable of working independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Solid understanding of lab operations to maximize efficiency, effectiveness, and safety
- Familiar with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Pay Range for this position: $84,300 - $126,400
The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
