Manufacturing Operator, 1st shift

Position: Manufacturing Operator, 1st shift, Mon-Fri (6 am to 2:30 pm)

* The Role:

** Our Bedford, MA site is hiring a
** Manufacturing Operator II
** for
** 1st shift (Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM)
** to join our ESC Operations team. This handson role primarily involves operating SiC media blast tools to decontaminate variety of fixtures. The position will also be expected to cross train and support additional areas, including thin-film coating tools, RIE tools, assembly, and wet etch processes used in the manufacturing of EChucks. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to work comfortably in a SiC media blast environment while using appropriate PPE.Follow

all safety best practices and wear required PPE while on the production floor. This role requires frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques. Follow production priorities and complete assigned tasks accordingly; proactively communicate delays or issues to supervisors. Stay focused on assigned tasks and complete all required work within the shift.  High school diploma or equivalent.

3-5-years of preferred(Sandblasting experience is a plus) manufacturing experience Ability to read, understand and follow documented processes and procedures.  Good attention to detail; ability to perform basic math computations and computer data entry. Ability to use measuring devices and hand tools.  Ability to repetitively pinch and grasp hand tools, repetitively twist, bend and reach upward and handle all materials required in manufacturing, etc.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to work in different environments of dealing with a variety of tasks in a Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment, especially in sandblasting and coatings.
