General

Summary:

Individuals in this position will perform janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, groundskeeping or maintenance tasks. Two vacancies are available on the Bedford campus, with occasional travel to Lowell as needed.

• Complete in‑house demolition work.
• Clean and maintain safe work areas.
• Load, unload, and clean vehicles.
• Remove trash and recyclables.
• Paint and refresh spaces after construction.
• Operate motor vehicles.
• Assist craftspeople performing
  
  Hz building and grounds maintenance.
• Sweep floors and sidewalks, rake leaves, and operate grounds maintenance equipment.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Assist in beaut SSA of campus grounds.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to understand and apply the laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, specifications, standards and guidelines governing assigned unit activities.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Ability to climb and work on ladders and scaffolds.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.

Salary: $18.25 per hour in accordance with the College's Part‑Time Wage Schedule.

Location: Bedford campus with occasional travel to Lowell as needed.

Hours: Not to exceed 20 hours per week; exact schedule to be determinedüglich upon hire with a 6:30 AM start մայր time.
