General
Summary:
Individuals in this position will perform janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, groundskeeping or maintenance tasks. Two vacancies are available on the Bedford campus, with occasional travel to Lowell as needed.
- Complete in‑house demolition work.
- Clean and maintain safe work areas.
- Load, unload, and clean vehicles.
- Remove trash and recyclables.
- Paint and refresh spaces after construction.
- Operate motor vehicles.
- Assist craftspeople performing
Hz building and grounds maintenance. - Sweep floors and sidewalks, rake leaves, and operate grounds maintenance equipment.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas.
- Assist in beaut SSA of campus grounds.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to understand and apply the laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, specifications, standards and guidelines governing assigned unit activities.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Ability to climb and work on ladders and scaffolds.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
Salary: $18.25 per hour in accordance with the College's Part‑Time Wage Schedule.
Location: Bedford campus with occasional travel to Lowell as needed.
Hours: Not to exceed 20 hours per week; exact schedule to be determinedüglich upon hire with a 6:30 AM start մայր time.
