Position OverviewAcquisition Logistician, Senior
Location:
Hanscom Air Force Base, Bedford, MA
- Assist with coordinating all logistics elements—including spares, support equipment (SE), training, facilities, technical data, and provisioning—to ensure all integrated logistics support requirements for the program are identified and tailored.
- Perform as a key participant in developing long‑term weapons system supportability approaches that further the government’s acquisition strategy goals and objectives.
- Analyze sustainment or related Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) issues and recommend suitable replacements.
- Support the generation and review of logistics support documentation, including Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP), Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), Technical Orders (TOs), technical manuals, electronic technical manuals, illustrated parts breakdowns, and work specifications to meet government logistics support requirements.
- Plan, manage, and coordinate Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs) for a fleet of aircraft, integrating supply, procurement, maintenance, and quality assurance to field and sustain depot‑level and field‑level TCTOs.
- Develop, advise, and assess the performance of work done at the depot or contractor locations.
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent with twenty (20) years of relevant experience and eight (8) years of DoD experience.
- Bachelor’s degree with fifteen (15) years of relevant experience and five (5) years of DoD experience.
- Master’s degree with twelve (12) years of relevant experience and five (5) years of DoD experience.
- Top Secret clearance.
- Experience with early‑stage acquisition and Milestone B entry.
USD 135,000–140,000 annually, depending on experience, education, and related certifications.
Position Type / Expected Hours of WorkFull‑time on‑site position requiring 40 hours per week. Flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.

- Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top‑Secret clearance.
