Overview
Abacus Technology is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to provide information assurance support at Hanscom AFB. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities- Provide information assurance oversight, guidance and support to the customer community in accordance with Federal, Department of Defense, and U.S. Air Force Information Assurance programs.
- Ensure applicable systems/networks/computing environments meet security requirements and that all security risks for those environments are properly mitigated.
- Provide technical and programmatic information assurance/cyber security services in support of system-level certification and accreditation processes.
- Track and manage all open security-related problem reports and fixes.
- Provide necessary support for Certification and Accreditation (C&A) requirements as well as re-accreditation requirements.
- Ensure configuration management for systems/networks/computing systems and hardware is documented and maintained.
- Support creation, management, and processing of accounts, DLP.
- Provide support with Classified Message Incidents.
- Review all Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) alerts, bulletins and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS) for applicable implementation and remediation in the customer’s network/computing environment(s).
- Provide support to maintain a comprehensive network security policy.
- Create, review and update standard operating procedures and AF Checklists.
- Review FFRDC System Security Plans and provide support as needed.
- Assist with TEMPEST certification for Classified Processing Areas.
3+ years experience in IT and systems support. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements. Must be Security+ CE certified. Strong knowledge of Air Force, DoD and applicable Federal Information Assurance/Cyber Security Directives and Instructions. Knowledge of cyber security including the RMF process and Cyber Defense. Experience with SharePoint;
Windows Desktop Operating Systems;
Windows Server Operating Systems;
Active Directory; and MS Office. Knowledge of Service Now. Proficient with Computer and Server Hardware. Able to capture and report metrics. Able to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. Must be self-motivated, able to work well in a team or independently, and have strong customer service skills, troubleshooting skills, and communication skills. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
