Sr. Computer Network Architect

Core Responsibilities

• Network Design & Engineering: Design, install, configure, and troubleshoot the network infrastructure with minimal supervision. Manage daily operational tasks and ongoing upgrade projects for routers, switches, and network management tools.
• Operations & Troubleshooting: Provide day‑to‑day operational support, including network debugging, diagnosing data troubles, opening trouble tickets, and resolving customer support cases through Tier 3 support.
• Network Modernization: Participate in the design and integration of new networks into the existing architecture, leveraging the latest networking technologies.
• Compliance & Documentation: Assist in securing network systems to meet all applicable DoD, AF, and DISA compliance standards. Maintain network topology maps (classified and unclassified) using tools like Visio and ensure detailed record‑keeping for military processes and procedures.
• Maintenance & Support: Participate in system maintenance, optimization, and performance activities. Support emergency operations on a 24/7 as‑needed basis and be flexible for weekend work as required.
