Ideal Candidate- Education in psychology, social services, early childhood education, or related field.
- Experience as daycare, preschool worker, paraprofessional, DSP, nanny, babysitter, or similar.
- Recruiter reaches out for a 30‑minute virtual interview.
- Onsite interview and shadowing of a current Technician.
- Conduct 1:1 therapy sessions with clients.
- Follow prescribed skill acquisition and behavior support plans.
- Collect data, write therapy notes.
- Communicate progress with parents/caregivers (with BCBA guidance).
- Assist BCBA in preparing and organizing client materials.
- Attend required trainings.
- Follow BACB guidelines.
- Work toward or maintain RBT certification.
- Maintain a positive working environment.
- Lift and carry clients up to 30 lbs.
- Restrain/hold/transport and use quick movements as needed.
- Maintain various postures and walk/run to chase clients.
- Attend to basic needs (feeding, diapering, toileting, dressing).
- Manual dexterity for data collection and documentation.
- Visual acuity to read written communication.
- Maintain prolonged periods at computer.
- Clean and maintain therapy space.
- Administer medication to clients.
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).
- Strong verbal & written communication.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, detail oriented, flexible, adaptable.
- Professional integrity.
- Experience working with children 2‑12 in classroom, daycare, one‑on‑one, or instructional settings.
- Experience with ABA principles, educational or allied health background.
- Pay: $19–$25 per hour.
