ARS is seeking a Senior Program Manager located at Hanscom, AFB, in Bedford, Massachusetts.
As a Senior Program Manager at ARS, you will oversee acquisition and development efforts, support cost and schedule reduction, and provide program level acquisition support to the Program Manager and Integrated Product Team Leads. You will develop briefings, support acquisition processes with government and prime contractors, assist in preparing briefings and reports, and provide services critical to Life Cycle Logistics and operational supportability.
Responsibilities- Support cost and schedule reduction activities for acquisition and development efforts.
- Provide program level acquisition support to the Program Manager and Integrated Product Team Leads.
- Support and develop various briefings of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management.
- Support implementation and execution of acquisition and development effort processes in concert with Government and weapon system prime contractors.
- Assist with the preparation of briefings, graphics and reports in direct support of the acquisition program management functions.
- Provide services critical to Life Cycle Logistics and operational supportability.
- Review and track prime contractor deliverables status and schedules.
- Experience working with Mission Planning Independent Validation, Verification & Evaluation, FQT and Development Evaluations in software development.
- Outline policy disconnects, policy interpretation, and management of all acquisition efforts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience:
Program Manager within a DoD environment. - Education:
BA/BS degree preferred. - Security Clearance:
Active Secret Security Clearance. - Certifications:
PMP Certificate preferred. - Citizenship:
Must be a US citizen.
The expected annual salary range: $156k - $165k. Salary is dependent upon the role and associated responsibilities, candidate's experience, and qualifications to include education/training, and key skills.
